This recombinant CHO Lysosomal Protective Protein (CTSA; UniProt G3H8V5) is expressed in CHO‑S cells with a 6xHIS tag and purified by nickel affinity chromatography to >95% purity. Under reducing conditions, CTSA appears at ~63 kDa and is quantified by Bradford assay and A280. CTSA is a key lysosomal enzyme involved in protein degradation and stabilization of other hydrolases, making it a relevant CHO‑derived impurity in biologics manufacturing.
